Kate Hudson Responds to Brad Pitt Dating Rumors

Kate Hudson is addressing those rumors that she was dating Brad Pitt earlier this year after his split from Angelina Jolie.

“That was the craziest rumor of all time,” Kate said during her appearance on Watch What Happens Live alongside actor Colin Hanks. “There’s nothing true to that. As a matter of fact. I hadn’t actually seen him in, like, four years. It was kind of an awesome rumor. I kind of liked it. I was like, ‘OK, fine. We’re having twins!’”

Kate is currently in a relationship with Danny Fujikawa.

Angelina Jolie opens up about divorcing Brad Pitt: ‘It’s just been the hardest time’

The INSIDER Summary:

  • Angelina Jolie opens up about moving on from Brad Pitt in a new cover story for Vanity Fair.
  • The 42-year-old actress filed for divorce from Pitt in September 2016.
  • Jolie says “things became ‘difficult'” during their relationship late last summer.
  • She recently moved the couple’s six children into a new Los Angeles mansion where she’s focusing on being a homemaker and healing the family.
  • Jolie says she is taking cooking classes and goes to bed wondering if she did a “great job as a mom” each night.

Angelina Jolie is readjusting to life without Brad Pitt. The 42-year-old actress opened up about her divorce in a new cover story for Vanity Fair.

“It’s just been the hardest time, and we’re just kind of coming up for air,” said Jolie who just moved her children into a six-bedroom, 10-bathroom mansion in Los Angeles. “[This house] is a big jump forward for us, and we’re all trying to do our best to heal our family.”

Jolie filed for divorce from Pitt in September 2016, citing “irreconcilable differences.” At the time, her attorney, Robert Offer, said the decision was “for the health of the family.”

The actress previously spoke with “Good Morning America” about her divorce and reiterated that the Jolie-Pitt clan was focusing on the health of the family. Now, Jolie is speaking a bit more candidly about her falling out with Pitt while choosing her words carefully.

“Things got bad,” Jolie told Vanity Fair. “I didn’t want to use that word. . . . Things became ‘difficult.'”

The “bad” may be referring to reports of an alleged plane altercation between Pitt and Jolie in September 2016. According to an alleged video, Pitt is reportedly seen fighting and yelling with Jolie on the family’s private jet. Oldest son Maddox Jolie-Pitt reportedly stepped in to break up the fight. “Nothing physical” was reported to take place, and, after an investigation, the FBI cleared Pitt of child abuse allegations.

Jolie didn’t offer more details, saying she didn’t want to discuss the breakup “for the sake of the kids,” but she added that Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Vivienne, and Knox are moving forward and that she’s proud of them.

“They’ve been very brave. They were very brave,” she said.

Now, the focus is adjusting to life without Pitt and healing. Vanity Fair notes that Jolie is balancing playdates and doctor’s visits and meals with work and humanitarian efforts. She has worked on patching things up with her estranged famous father, Jon Voight, so he can spend time with the children. But it’s not easy. The estimated $25 million mansion the family has moved into, which once belonged to filmmaker Cecil B. DeMille is somewhat empty. Decorating was “Brad’s thing,” Jolie said.

Like any single mother, Jolie just sounds like she’s trying to hold it together and do the best for her kids.

“I’m just wanting to make the proper breakfast and keep the house. That’s my passion,” said Jolie. “At the request of my kids, I’m taking cooking classes. As I go to sleep at night, I think, Did I do a great job as a mom or was that an average day?”

Gwyneth Paltrow admits she caused her break up with Brad Pitt in the ’90s

The INSIDER Summary:

  • Gwyneth Paltrow admitted that she hasn’t always been a saint when it comes to her love life.
  • She told a podcast that she “f—— up” her relationship with Brad Pitt.
  • But Paltrow said she’s put in the work to have healthy relationship now.

Gwyneth Paltrow may seem like she has it all together with her conscious uncoupling from ex-husband Chris Martin and running her Goop empire. But in a new interview, she admitted that her love life is the one aspect that can be a little more messy— and ex Brad Pitt learned that the hard way.

Speaking to Sophia Amoruso on her Girl Boss podcast, Paltrow said that she’s struggled with romantic relationships more than other relationships in her life.

“I’m actually a pretty good friend, and a good sister and a daughter and a mother, but I’m at my potentially most vulnerable and f—– up in the romantic slice of the pie,” she said.

Paltrow was not shy about joking that she was a big part of the demise of her relationship with Pitt that ended in 1997.

“I f—– that up, Brad!” she said with a laugh.

Paltrow and Pitt dated between 1994 and 1997 after meeting on the set of the movie “Se7en.” They got engaged in 1996 before splitting the following year.

“I take the institution extremely seriously. There are no divorces in my family either — and in his either, so this is not something — we’ve been together for quite some time, so this is not a rash decision,” she said at the time, according to Entertainment Tonight.

Though their partnership was short-lived, the two were frequently captured on the red carpet with their very ’90s outfits and nearly identical haircuts.

Paltrow said that she’s worked on her issues as far as romance following her divorce from Martin and that she’s now in a healthy relationship with TV writer and producer Brad Falchuk.

“It’s taken me a lot of, a lot of work to get to the place where I have a good romantic relationship,” she said.

For someone as put together as Paltrow to admit she hasn’t always been the ideal partner is an important reminder to everyone that relationships are work — Goop queen or not.

Angelina Jolie opens up about being single after filing for divorce from Brad Pitt: ‘It’s not something I wanted’

The INSIDER Summary:

  • Angelina Jolie says the past year has been difficult since she filed for divorce from husband Brad Pitt.
  • In an interview with the Sunday Telegraph, she said she didn’t want to be single.
  • “There’s nothing nice about it,” she said.

The single life isn’t always easy, even for Angelina Jolie.

In an interview with the Sunday Telegraph, the 42-year-old actress opened up about her split from husband Brad Pitt and her struggles with being single.

“I don’t enjoy being single. It’s not something I wanted,” she said. “There’s nothing nice about it. It’s just hard. Sometimes maybe it appears I am pulling it all together, but really I am just trying to get through my days.”

The actress, who has six kids with Pitt, filed for divorce in September 2016 for “irreconcilable differences” after a two-year marriage and 12-year relationship.

“Emotionally it’s been a very difficult year, and I have had some other health issues. So my health is something I have to monitor,” she added.

She’s currently doing press for her new film, “First They Killed My Father,” which she directed, produced and co-wrote, but is taking time to reflect on her life and make fun for herself.

“I think now I need to rediscover a little bit of the old me,” she said. “I think we lose our way a bit. I have had a lot happen in my life, from certain people passing to health issues to raising the children. And it’s been a very good time to absorb and develop and grow.”

She continued: “But maybe now that my kids are growing up, I am starting to realize that my own sense of play has been put on hold for a while. And maybe them hitting their teens is going to bring out a little more fun in mom. So maybe I am going back. It may be time.”

The actress has said before in an interview on Good Morning America that they “will always be a family.”
